Truck of the Year: April 2025

Australian truckies kept the month of April hopping along, with a range of trucks working hard for Easter.
As the scent of freshly baked hot cross buns wafted on the early morning breeze, local legends were behind the wheel doing what is often unseen work by the majority of Aussies. May is sure to be amazing as well with the Brisbane Truck Show running from the 15-18 May at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in Southbank. The event celebrates the love of trucking and is a time for the community to come together to see the best of the best on show from Australia's trucking industry.
Sweet treat
Each month a winner is selected based on their Isuzu truck and their passion for their rig, scoring an Isuzu Trucks merchandise pack valued at $300 RRP.
The monthly winner also goes in the running to be crowned the ‘King’ of their truck Series (N, F, FX/FY) at the end of the year with a shot at the $1,500 cash prize awarded to each series winner. The full list of terms and conditions can be found at isuzu.com.au/news/truck-of-the-year.
April Truck of the Year
This month the judges were wowed by the slick set up from Alpad Fencing and Aldo Padavano who entered his NLR 45-150 Tradepack.
Alpad Fencing scores the monthly merchandise pack for April and is now in the running to be crowned ‘King’ of N Series in December.

Alpad Fencing
It's great to see a brand-new business experience success and take pride in their work vehicle, just like Aldo Padavano and the team at Alpad Fencing based in the Melbourne suburb of Keilor Downs.
The nifty NLR 45-150 Tradepack makes short work of getting fencing supplies to jobs and features toolboxes installed in the tray and an emerald green wrap that displays the company livery.
“Alpad Fencing is a new company that is endeavoring to supply a premium product to our customers, so we require premium tools. That's where Isuzu comes in,” said Aldo.

Pioneer Fish Farm
Mark Scifleet has entered his NPS 75-155 Crew Cab that pulls double duty at the family-run Pioneer Fish Farm.
Mark’s go-anywhere 4x4 NPS has things covered on the family’s Silver Perch hatchery and fish farm nestled under the Bucketts mountain range in the Gloucester valley.
The Isuzu Crew Cab range is made for mates too, being able to accommodate two passengers up front beside the driver and four passengers on the rear bench seat leaving ample space for friends on a weekend camping trip, and for team members to hitch a lift during the working week.
“My Isuzu is a work truck during the week and morphs into a camper for special weekends,” said Mark.
