Isuzu Engines is set to attend Henty Machinery Field Days 2017, a prominent event on the farming and agricultural calendar, which will be held between September 19-21 in the usually quiet town of Henty.
Situated between the large regional centres of Albury-Wodonga and Wagga Wagga in Southern New South Wales, Henty is home to Headlie Taylor’s Blacksmith Shop – where in 1914, Headlie Taylor invented the header harvester, which revolutionised the international grain industry.
In the spirit of Headlie’s contribution to agricultural production and efficiency, Henty will swell from a modest population of roughly 1,000 to around 60,000 as people flock to the town to have fun and view the latest offerings in the agricultural industry.
Isuzu Engines will join the many providers showcasing the latest and greatest in agritech and agribusiness, displaying their extensive range of specialised and much sought after off-highway engines.
Isuzu Engines’ Sales Manager, Rod Best, welcomes the opportunity to meet and engage with customers in the flesh.
“We’re really excited to be headed back to Henty Field Days after last year’s experience, which was really positive,” Mr Best said.
“In the agricultural sector, productivity, reliability and efficiency are really important. Isuzu staff will be there to showcase our off-highway engines and to demonstrate their applications and capacities.”
Isuzu Engines never rests on its laurels, with its off-highway engines undergoing a continual process of testing and refining. And well-informed Isuzu staff will be on hand to walk interested parties through the products.
“This year’s display will include a substantial selection of our range,” Mr Best said, “and we’ll have staff there to run through each engine, its usage, and to answer any queries.”
A mix of engines – ranging between two, three, four and six-cylinder models – will be onsite for attendees to inspect, while experienced off-highway engine experts will be there to answer any questions around application and to ensure people are getting the correct information.
“For us to match the right engine to the right job, it’s essential that we first understand the customer’s requirements,” Mr Best said.
“Our Henty Field Days stand will display a raft of mechanical fuel-injected power units, in various configurations, to help customers choose the power unit that best suits their specific needs.”
