Isuzu's Truck of the Year competition has opened for 2024 and there are more ways to win than ever before, including a refresh to the People's Choice Award category.

The People's Choice Award was originally introduced to give loyal fans a chance to choose which truck deserved a coveted spot in the limelight—like What the Flush Plumbing who was voted the people's favourite for 2023.

Traditionally, voting took place over the summer holidays via Isuzu Australia’s social media. This year, the People's Choice round runs from 10 May until 01 December 2024, giving an even greater chance for people to enter and win, or have their say on which truck should reign supreme.

How to enter

You can submit a post on Facebook tagging Isuzu Australia or through Instagram tagging Isuzu Trucks Australia and using the hashtag #IsuzuPeoplesChoice.

Submissions can be as creative as you please: a photo with a snappy caption, a reel, or a video showing your Isuzu truck putting its best wheel forward.

The winner of the 2024 People's Choice Award will receive a $1,000 fuel card—much-needed respite from the cost of living.

Like previous years, the winner will be chosen via popular vote by the people. So, if you want to snag the People's Choice round for 2024, get your community and friends behind you with likes, comments, shares, and engagement.

Likewise, if you want to give a shout out to a mate who’s been working hard all year and you think deserves the recognition, now is your chance! The full terms and conditions of entry are listed on www.isuzu.com.au.

Clancy the NQR 87-190 from JME Excavations

The first winner of the People's Choice round went to JME Excavations who entered the competition back in 2021 with the prize winning medium-duty NQR 87-190 named ‘Clancy’.

This bright red and crisp white rig features a customised Grant Engineered tipper tray which is used in excavation work for the business.

‘Clancy’ the NQR 87-190 has been put to work across a range of services including site cuts and levelling, driveway repairs and resurfacing, drainage, retaining walls footings and post holes.

What the Flush Plumbing's NLR 45-150 trade truck

Brandon Navratil and What the Flush Plumbing took out the 2023 People's Choice award thanks to a one-of-a-kind NLR 45-150 which assists the plumbing business in servicing Bringelly and surrounds in New South Wales.

The light-duty truck has an unforgettable custom wrap and registration plates, with What the Flush Plumbing opting for a setup that allows easy access to tools and equipment—a toolbox on wheels with extra payload for materials and machinery.

The eye-catching NLR 45-150 was overwhelmingly popular in the 2023 round of the People's Choice thanks to the loyalty and support of Brandon's customers and local community.
