JUNE: TRUCK OF THE YEAR 2023

Jul 17, 2023 4min read

Winter is well underway now and the southern states dipping below zero degrees, but at least we plenty of great trucks to admire to heat things up.

Isuzu’s Truck of the Year competition is all about recognising the hard work you do—and have some fun in the process. It’s as easy as taking a snap of your truck at the work site or resting at the driver reviver and sending it over to the Isuzu judging panel.

Each month a winner is selected to win the monthly prize, an Isuzu merchandise pack valued at $300. The winner also goes into the running to be crowned King of their truck series and have a shot at becoming the Grand Prize Winner for 2023.

The month of June was chock full of fantastic entries with cracking Isuzu Trucks supporting local businesses: builders, livestock transport, earthmoving and more.

But as we always say… only one can win.

This month we congratulate Daniel Taglieri from Lolico Painting & Maintenance with his FRR 110-260. Daniel from Lolico receives the $300 Isuzu Trucks merchandise pack and has gone in the running to be crowned King of the F Series.

Congratulations Daniel Taglieri and Lolico Painting & Maintenance!

LOLICO PAINTING & MAINTENANCE

Daniel Taglieri from Calder Park in Victoria has entered his trustworthy FRR 110-260.

With a one-of-a-kind tray out the back, we are confident that Daniel and the team at Lolico Painting & Maintenance are well supported in all of their trucking and construction needs.

“We designed the tray ourselves to carry tools equipment,” said Daniel.

“We store plasterboard top and bottom, it has a custom canopy and storage space, and has been fitted with custom ramp at the rear for all our demolition needs.”

ICON

Based in Bellemere, Queensland, Curtis Lyons has entered his 2023 FYJ 300-350. With an eye-catching black and blue wrap, this FYJ is pulling double duty as an on-road advertisement and working hard at asbestos removal for the Icon team.

“Its size is a standout!” exclaims Curtis.

We couldn't agree more.

STACE LIVESTOCK TRANSPORT

Ron Stace from Forbes has entered his FXY 240-350 Auto, which he relies on for moving livestock.

Looking squeaky clean and ready for whatever comes at the next fork in the road in rural New South Wales, the FXY offers a GVM of 24,000 kg and GCM of 45,000 kg, making it the perfect match for pulling serious weight.

“My Isuzu is a very versatile truck,” stated Ron.

ENZED TOOWOOMBA

Based in Toowoomba in Southern Queensland, Jayde Dau has entered their NPR 45-155 that is hard at work at Enzed Toowoomba.

“My Isuzu turns heads because it is like a mobile billboard for the business,” said Jayde.

Busy seeing to hose fitting across a broad range of industries, Enzed is on the go and well supported with their Isuzu truck.

B&D BUNT EARTHMOVING

Lindsay Bunt from Coffs Harbour in New South Wales entered this proudly presented and brightly coloured FXZ 240-350 tipper truck. Working for B & D Bunt Earthmoving this tipper puts in long hours on the work site and on the road, transporting loads of earth, rock and heavy materials.

“Our Isuzu FXZ tipper is a good all-rounder for the business,” said Lindsay.

It’s time to put your Isuzu truck to the test and enter it into the Truck of the Year competition. With fantastic prizes to win and a shot at the coveted Grand Prize, there has never been a better day to enter.
