[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has packed up its stand after another hugely successful year at the Brisbane Truck Show. The atmosphere at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre was heavily business focussed for the 50th anniversary of the Brisbane Truck Show, held from May 25 to 28. Theevent attracted over 33,000 people, and the diverse array of trucks on display at the IAL stand, particularly the new models in the class-leading Ready to Work range, sparked plenty of conversation among attendees. IAL Director, Sales and Marketing, Andrew Harbison said there was a lot of enthusiasm about the brand-new Isuzu models on display. “The NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack and NLR 55-150 Tri-Tipper, in particular, generated plenty of enquiries from attendees,” Mr Harbison said. “People in the freight and logistics field were eager to engage with IAL staff about the Vanpack and we had a lot of feedback that this simple, yet elegant last-mile delivery vehicle presented an off the shelf solution that our customers have been waiting for. “Similarly, we had lots of visitors to the stand who were landscapers, builders, bulk supply yard operators or council staff who were very interested in an Isuzu Tri-Tipper – because they know they can rely on the brand and having a tipper body that tips to the left, right and rear is going to make life a lot easier. “Of course the Tri-Tipper was well accompanied by its bigger siblings in the FRR 107-210 Tipper and at the top end of the scale our Giga CXY 455 fitted with a tipper body,” Mr Harbison concluded. The eye-catching Milwaukee-branded NLR 45-150 AMT short wheel base Servicepack also generated a lot of interest Following on from the recent giveway of the NLR Servicepack with the added bonus of $10,000 in Milwuakee tools, Isuzu ran a competition to give away a $1,000 Milwaukee tool kit on each day of the event, and gave away over 40 gift cards that attendees could put towards Isuzu merchandise on sale at the event. Isuzu’s stand also featured a custom-designed lounge area, which IAL National Truck Sales Manager, Les Spaltman, said provided a relaxed setting to speak further with customers who were looking for more detail on the range of products and services on display. “Hearing how Isuzu has helped businesses meet objectives in the past – and figuring out how we can continue to do so in the future – is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job, so the Brisbane Truck Show was a great success in that regard,” he said. The lounge was also busy with discussions about everything from the capabilities of Isuzu Telematics, to the peace of mind offered by Isuzu genuine parts and Isuzu Priority Service Agreements, as well as the after-sales care program Isuzu Care. “It’s always great at events like the Brisbane Truck Show to get feedback from Isuzu customers and hear from the wider audience about what they’re looking for in a truck – and the kind of after-sales support they want,” Mr Spaltman said. “We take this information to heart. It has helped us to manufacture vehicles, as well as after-sales programs, that are tailored to the needs of our growing customer base.” Mr Spaltman and Mr Harbison agreed everyone at IAL was pleased with the outcomes from the Brisbane Truck Show. “Events like this are a great opportunity to demonstrate the comprehensive approach we have to our business, but the hard work doesn’t stop once the show has concluded,” Mr Harbison said. “Everyone at IAL is conscious that our 28 years of sales success in the Australian truck market is the result of us taking the time to understand the concerns of truck buyers and providing them with a vehicle and the associated support that they know is going to be reliable and suited to their particular needs, not just once, but year in and year out.” For further information, please contact:                     For Isuzu Truck releases and photos: Jeff Birdseye                                                             Arkajon Communications Isuzu Australia Limited                                              Phone: 03 9867 5611 Phone: 03 9644 6666                                               Email: isuzu@arkajon.com.au
